Meet The Team
Meet the team that will exceed your expectations, and deliver results:

Mark Sturman | mark@sumiyaka.co.uk   Russ Kateley | russ@sumiyaka.co.uk
Mark's enthusiasm for the GTO is matched only by his knowledge of the car. His work is exemplary and his standards are as high as you will ever find. He has a passion for producing only the the best work, and a great pride in his results. He is the recognised expert in the GTO community, and with a background in restoring classic cars, he is used to varied and challenging work. His commitment to producing only the highest standard of work means your car will always be in safe hands.   Russ has been involved in motorsport for many years, having built Suzuki rally cars in the 90's he went on to run his own garage looking after modern and historic rally cars. With a background in mechanical and electrical engineering and design, he is able to apply years of experience and knowledge to produce the results needed in today's performance cars. He is a perfectionist, and takes great pride in working to extremely high standards. Like Mark he does not compromise on quality or service.

Nick Underhill | nick@sumiyaka.co.uk

Josh Nell | josh@sumiyaka.co.uk

Having just completed his four year advanced vehicle technician course in two years at the top of his class , Nick will soon be starting his 4 year BTEC Advanced Motorsport Technician apprenticeship with the national College for Motorsport at Silverstone. Nick is mad about cars and totally immerses himself in Japanese car culture. He shares Mark and Russ' passion for perfection and attention to detail, and is keen to learn as much as possible about the Japanese performance car business. He already has extensive experience of Japanese performance cars which he is adding to every day, and has become a highly accomplished technician.   Josh has recently joined the team full time as an apprentice; having been our Saturday lad since July 07. Like Nick he is a total petrol head and loves Japanese Performance cars. Over the next four years Josh will be completing a BTEC apprenticeship as an Advanced Motorsport Technician. During this time he will learn all aspects of Specialised Vehicle Maintenance, Motorsport Preparation and Tuning.

We never become complacent about the need to learn, and to this end all Sumiyaka employees will continue to train to stay at the top of this profession.

Through our ongoing training Sumiyaka strive to be the best in the business.

Both Mark and Russ are actively involved in the GTO/3000GT community, and both own and drive modified GTOs.
