Built in 2 weeks from a stripped shell for entry
to the Speedball Rally in 2006; Frankiestein is our single
turbo converted NA. After completion at 6 am the Thursday before
the rally
Frankiestein was started for the first time, then driven to
the Nurburgring in Germany. We mapped the car on route whilst
running
the engine in; giving it it's first oil change at the Ring.
The car ran faultlessly throughout the event and has since
done many more miles. It is currently undergoing a transformation
into something even more special.
The Name Frankiestein is a tribute to its former
owner Frankie Brannen, having taken it as a trade in for a
TT we though it only right to name it after Frankie
and the monster it had become. |
